About Inner City Women’s Group

Mission Statement

It is Inner City Women's Group mission to provide services that:

Utilise Mātauranga to draw on our own strengths, wisdom, and inner knowledge
Utilise Mātauranga Māori to work with women acknowledging all women's cultural experiences, knowledge, and stories
Prioritise the safety of all women/wahine and children/tamariki and families/whanau
Empower all women to be free from family violence
Are equitable, accessible, and flexible
Include facilitated groups and safety and education programmes that are trauma-informed, evidence-based and delivered by skilled professionals
